We are pleased to introduce StepHER Gateshead, a women-led wellbeing programme designed to support women and girls to feel more active, confident, and connected.
This programme brings together weekly Pilates and volleyball sessions in a safe and welcoming environment. It offers a space where participants can move, meet others, and take time for their own wellbeing.
Sessions take place every Monday between 19:00 and 21:00 at community venues across Gateshead. The programme is open to women and girls from different backgrounds, with a particular focus on those who may face barriers to accessing regular physical activity.
Alongside the activities, we aim to build a sense of belonging and peer support. Participants are encouraged to take part at their own pace and become part of a supportive community.
Travel support is available to help ensure access for those who need it.
This programme reflects our wider mission to promote social inclusion.
